Peanut buTter cOokies

Aunty June, sadly you are with us no more, but your legend lives on in all who bake these cookies.
2 Cups soft butter
½ Cup peanut butter
½ Cup white sugar
½ Cup brown sugar
1 Egg
1 ¼ Cups flour
½ Teaspoon baking powder
¾ Teaspoon bicarb
¼ Teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius
Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and egg
Sift dry ingredients together and stir in
Chill dough and roll into walnut size balls
Place 3” apart on a baking tray
Flatten with a fork, dipped in flour
Bake at 180 for 10-12 minutes
